Adison and Kyle, founders of A-OK Appliance Repair, grew up in Southwest Colorado, where neighbors looked out for each other and a handshake still meant something. After 10 years in the appliance industry, they realized that kind of small-town service was getting harder to find – especially when you’re just another name on someone else’s schedule.
In 2025, they decided to change that. A-OK Appliance Repair was built to bring back what matters most: honest work, dependable service, and a real connection with the people they serve. Based in Durango and proud to serve the surrounding communities, A-OK delivers expert repairs without the hassle and frustration – just the way it should be.
Adison grew up in Ignacio, where he started in the appliance industry as a delivery guy during summer break. What began as a summer job turned into a full-time career when he saw the need for skilled, reliable technicians. Nearly ten years later, he brings a wide range of experience to every part of the business.
As a Southern Ute descendant, Adison takes pride in serving the communities he grew up around. When he’s not working, you’ll find him spending time with friends and family or shopping at other local businesses around Southwest Colorado.
Kyle started in the appliance world as a delivery guy during high school. After a couple of years, he looked for ways to move up in the company, but knew one thing for sure – he wasn’t cut out for sales. As someone who spent a lot of his childhood tinkering with cars and dirtbikes, appliance repair just clicked, and he quickly saw it as a way to help people while putting his skills to work.
Over the last ten years, he’s gained experience on just about every type of appliance and is certified to work on all major brands. When he’s not working, you’ll probably find him fishing at Pastorius – and still steering clear of anything that looks like a desk job.
We didn’t build A-OK to be just another repair company. We built it because we knew what was missing – real follow-through, no gimmicks, and service that actually feels reliable. Here’s what makes us different:
